November 8, 2025 Saturday We were up early and off the ship by 8:15. We found where our excursion meets and actually checked in early. At 8:45 they had us all in line and by 9:00 we were boarding the bus. The bus was a charter type bus (56 Passenger with toilet). We had a bout a 45 minute ride to the La Bufadora. November 7, 2025 Friday Today was our last “day at sea” day so we made plans to mostly relax today. We did breakfast and then spent some time on the Serenity Deck. We found a chair and relaxed and talked with a girl from the UK who we had met at the hotel before the cruise. From there we went to the Lido Deck where we had some food from the Chicken Shack. November 6, 2025 Thursday This morning we were up early and had some breakfast at the buffet. From there we headed to the shuttles which were not busy at all this morning. We packed a backpack for the day with sunscreen, towels and extra clothes. Once ashore we found our boat and the tour operator. November 5, 2025 Wednesday The ship pulled into Cabo San Lucas this morning and the weather was great and made for great vistas and pictures from the ship. We did not realize how hilly and mountainous the coastline is here. We took some pics and Amy even saw a whale playing around where all the boats take tourists to the arch. November 4, 2025 Tuesday Today is a day at sea on our way to Cabo San Lucas. David spent about an hour in the fitness center before breakfast. We had breakfast and did some sitting and watching the water go by. After lunch we began to look at what we would like to do this afternoon and evening. We ended up doing the clean comedy show and the adult comedy show late that night. In between we saw the show for the night, ate at our restaurant and watched musicians in whatever

November 3, 2025 Monday This morning David got up early and went down to the second floor to work on some expense tabulation for the month of October. After that he took a walk into the city of Long Beach. He decided to stop into a little place called Potholder Cafe for some breakfast. He had the Hobo omelette with breakfast potatoes and toast. November 2, 2025 Sunday Today is David’s birthday. He is giving himself a cruise to Cabo San Lucas. We leave tomorrow and anticipate a relaxing and fun voyage. This morning we woke to a foggy gloomy looking view. However, the sun came out later and made for a beautiful day in Long Beach. November 1, 2025 Saturday This morning we were up and enjoying some time with our grandson. David got Griff’s for everyone for lunch around 11:30. We ate our burgers and got things ready for our departure. Our son and grandson accompanied us to the airport. They dropped us off at about 2:45 which was a bit early but we wanted to make sure we didn’t have to hurry with checking bags and going through security. October 31, 2025 Friday David drove the bus this morning while Amy packed. He went to his mothers after driving and then went to help Amy with more packing. The difficulty we have on this trip is the difference in temperatures. Today for instance Denver was L32 and H51 while Cabo San Lucas was L74 and H82. October 30, 2025 Thursday Another morning for bus driving and substitute teaching. David was done by 8:15 and went straight to his mother’s house to make sure she was up and having a little breakfast. There are no doctor’s appointments or other plans for during the day. October 29, 2025 Wednesday This morning David drove his bus route and then went to his mother’s to get her going for the day. He made some breakfast and stayed around until the lady who comes in on Wednesday arrived. Amy had some things going on today so she did not sub. David and his brother other had to take their dad to get a new ID since his license expired and he no longer drives. After that adventure they took him to Chick-fil-a which was his choice. October 28, 2025 Tuesday David was up early and off to drive his school bus route before Amy was out of bed. Amy was substituting at the Junior High today. It was rainy throughout the day as a cold front was approaching. David had to take his mom for a doctor’s appointment around 11:00. The appointment went rather well. October 27, 2025 Monday Today we had some breakfast and drove home around 10:30. We were back at home base by 3:30 and immediately got on to things we had to do. David had a haircut appointment. Amy checked on David’s mom. After David’s haircut he met Amy at his mothers. Amy had an outing with her step mom for the evening. David stayed with his mom all evening. October 26, 2025 Sunday Today we leave our hotel and head to Amy’s sister’s house. It will take almost 5 hours so we had to leave the Palacio del Rio around 9:30. Once we cleared out of the city we were able to drive through some less inhabited areas. Some of the trip was a little bit scenic but much was pretty mundane. October 25, 2025 Saturday Today we drive the two hour drive that turned into three. Traffic was very slow and go and stop and go between stretches of driving near the speed limit. Going into the city was also crazy with the Dio de las Muertos festivities, conventions and of course the Paul McCartney concert. We made it to the hotel and were checked in fairly quickly. October 24, 2025 Friday This morning we packed for our weekend meander and did some things at David’s mom’s. In addition to family we also have paid help with David’s mom over the next four days. David and his youngest brother will be out of town leaving only his middle brother in town to help with their mother. We left town around 11:00 for Amy’s brother’s house. October 23, 2025 The first half of the day was used for David’s exercise and Amy’s sewing. The afternoon is set aside for bringing David’s mother home after her rehab assignment. We picked up David’s mom at 4:00. We got her settled back into the house. Amy had picked up some things to have for dinner. October 22, 2025 Wednesday Today Amy was up early for her substitute job. David has several things to do but for the most part he has to work on getting things set up for his mom to return to her house after her rehab assignment. There are other family issues to deal with as there seem to always be major shifts and sometimes unexpected surprises in our extended family. October 21, 2025 Tuesday Today was an errand running and exercising day. It was also a day for visiting family. We visited all of our parents for all of the afternoon. October 20, 2025 Monday Today we had to pick up mail and prescriptions. After that we needed to take care of whether or not David’s mom was going to be discharged and come home. We met with all the necessary people and decided she should go home on Thursday. It appears to be the best decision. The later afternoon was spent doing laundry and organizing.
