Wayfaring Day 114

October 22, 2025 Wednesday

Today Amy was up early for her substitute job. David has several things to do but for the most part he has to work on getting things set up for his mom to return to her house after her rehab assignment. There are other family issues to deal with as there seem to always be major shifts and sometimes unexpected surprises in our extended family.

While we are at home base our pics have local photos taken at parks or homes of family we have here.

Today the weather is sunny with a low of 45 and high of 78. The leaves have not started to turn much here since fall occurs later here.

The afternoon was spent with David visiting his parents. The big goal was setting up a time for David’s mother to be discharged from her rehab assignment. It was decided that she would get out tomorrow at 4:00 which should help prepare some things for Friday and the weekend.

Dinner was left over steak and a salad. David continued prepare items for sale on EBay later in November. David will do a bus driving gig next week while Amy has some more substitute teaching a few days next week. As we have mentioned before, it’s pragmatic to make a little money during times when we are free to do so. Every little bit of income helps.
