This morning David got up early and went down to the second floor to work on some expense tabulation for the month of October. After that he took a walk into the city of Long Beach. He decided to stop into a little place called Potholder Cafe for some breakfast. He had the Hobo omelette with breakfast potatoes and toast.

On the walk he also took a few pics of the interesting architecture in downtown Long Beach. The city is clean and open with numerous glass facade buildings.

We checked out of our room at about 10:45 and found a place to wait until we get in line for the shuttle. Our check in time is between 1:30 and 2:00 so hopefully we have plenty of time. We watched the Dodgers Championship parade on the tv in the lobby. It seems like everyone at this hotel is going on our cruise. We got in line for the shuttle to the cruise terminal at about 11:45. The shuttle had us to the cruise terminal at about 12:30. We got in the “early” line and waited to get through security since we were about an hour early. There were no problems getting through all the lines and we were onboard in no time. We found a place to sit on the Lido deck and found something to eat for lunch.

We made it to our room at around 2:45. Hopefully I will be able to update this post later but I am publishing early just so it gets published today.

We are having to play catch up after not having signal availability. Yes we could have paid for internet but we were trying to go cheap.

We departed Long Beach on time and began our cruise. We have an inside room on deck 6 since that was one of the rooms available for the low price. We unpacked and had our restaurant dinner and made the tour of the ship. We made the first show of the cruise and didn’t stay up too late before turning in.
