Wayfaring Day 115

The first half of the day was used for David’s exercise and Amy’s sewing. The afternoon is set aside for bringing David’s mother home after her rehab assignment.

We picked up David’s mom at 4:00. We got her settled back into the house. Amy had picked up some things to have for dinner. David grilled chicken breasts and made salads while Amy prepared mixed vegetables and some bread. When David’s brother arrived we were ready to start eating dinner. We sat around and watched TV afterward. Amy is staying the night with David’s mother to make sure she gets any help she may need. There are lots of things going on not only with David’s mom but with other family members as well.

Tomorrow morning we will leave to have dinner with Amy’s brothers and spend the night with the older one and his wife.

We received a notification concerning our concert Saturday night. The venue is asking everyone to arrive early due to enhanced security measures. The parking lots open at 2:00 pm as do food and drink vendors in the plaza outside the venue. Doors open at 6:00 pm with the show scheduled to start at 8:00 pm. Our hotel is walking distance to the venue so at least we don’t have to hassle with parking and getting out after the show.
