Wayfaring Day 118

October 26, 2025 Sunday

Today we leave our hotel and head to Amy’s sister’s house. It will take almost 5 hours so we had to leave the Palacio del Rio around 9:30.

Once we cleared out of the city we were able to drive through some less inhabited areas. Some of the trip was a little bit scenic but much was pretty mundane. We made a couple of quick stops along the way and reached Amy’s sister’s house before 3:00 as planned.

Our great nephew was in a play at school at 3:00 so we didn’t want to miss his performance. He did well, playing three different parts in the Wizard of Oz. We had several family members there so there was some visiting with them before going to the house.

Amy’s sister made tacos for dinner. That was nice especially since we hadn’t really had a meal today.

We watched some football and then other television before going to bed.
