Wayfaring Day 128 Cabo San Lucas Day 1

November 5, 2025 Wednesday

The ship pulled into Cabo San Lucas this morning and the weather was great and made for great vistas and pictures from the ship. We did not realize how hilly and mountainous the coastline is here. We took some pics and Amy even saw a whale playing around where all the boats take tourists to the arch. We did not get passes for the shuttle since we would be going later when the shuttle is open for anyone.

This morning we woke up and went to the buffet for a little breakfast. After breakfast Amy went to her massage while David went to the fitness center to do the elliptical again. After those experiences we took our time and made our way to the shuttle to take us to land. Our plan was just to walk around the pier area and also find the location of our little excursion we have tomorrow. From the time you get off the boat to the time you leave you are inundated with merchants peddling their wares. Some may be a little aggressive but in general most are very friendly and don’t push too much. We were unsuccessful in finding our tour that we will be doing tomorrow which was a little disconcerting. David sent a text to the tour operator to ask for details such as the name of the boat. After a while along the pier we headed back to the shuttle and back to the ship.

At the ship we had some lunch at the taco place and did some line dancing. Later we went to the comedy club again. In the evening we watched the musical show and then went to eat at about the latest possible time before the restaurant closed. We caught the adult comedy show and then went to bed since we had a fairly early excursion and we had to be back on board by 3:30. Our excursion was at 10:00 am Mexico time but that is 9:00 ship time.
