Wayfaring Day 94

October 2, 2025 Thursday

Once again our son took our grandson to pre-school on his way to work at the university. We spent most of any time we had preparing for our flight tomorrow morning. We and our younger son did run some errands and made some last minute purchases for the trip. We all had lunch at Dave’s Hot Chicken after which our son had somewhere else to go and we had to go pick up our boy. We did stay and play today. They also had ice pops for everyone at the playground which the kids loved.

At home we played and packed and repacked as we tried to keep our luggage to a minimum.

Tonight we had some Wing Stop for everyone as a sort of last meal together since we would be gone for a couple of weeks. Then the conversation turned to how we were going to get to the airport. The final plan is for us to drive ourselves to the airport. We will leave the car at the terminal and then later in the morning when it is more convenient the boys will go pick up the car. It’s a good cheap plan.
