Wayfaring Day 85

September 23, 2025 Tuesday

This morning David was up early to take his son and wife to the airport for their trip to Maine. When he returned to the house Mimi and our grandson were up and having breakfast. He was watching Bluey while she gathered his clothes, lunch and snacks. By 8:45 we had him dressed and in the car. Our goal is to get him to his pre-school at 9:00 but we were a little late due to unusually heavy traffic.

While our grandson was at pre-school we did a little shopping for some things for their house and for more fruit. Our grandson eats a lot of fruit. We had some lunch and at about 1:30 we headed out to pick him up at 2:00. Back at home we had snacks and played some baseball. He tired of baseball and wanted pops to swing him for awhile. He swung for about 20 minutes before we all decided it was time to go in and start thinking about super. We grilled some steak and made corn on the cob and some tater tots. Our grandson loves corn and ate the whole piece he was given. He ate some of the steak and a few tots. Later we cooked a few jack o lantern sugar cookies and watched Camp Cretaceous until it was time to take a bath and go to bed.
