We enjoyed a somewhat lazy day today. Things are still rainy and icey so a good day to stay around the house. We did take a drive downtown to visit the bakery, a bookstore and the fish and chips place. Finding parking was a little bit of an issue this time but were able to park in a small car park near the bakery.

We bought several items from the bakery and a book from the bookstore for our grandson. We bought fish and chips and nuggets and chips to take home to eat. Both were quite good and they gave us enough chips (thick fries) for about three meals. The fish and chips come in a brown cardboard container. The nuggets and chips were wrapped in butcher paper like you get when you buy five pounds of ground meat. We managed to drive back to the house with no incidents and enjoyed our lunch.

After lunch David took the dog for a walk, which the dog really gets excited about. This time David let him off the leash and he really enjoyed that. The dog is very good about coming back especially if you bring cheese for him.

In the evening we watched tv, had a salad for dinner and investigated what to do tomorrow on our final day in Huddersfield. We looked at National Parks and Trusts but decided to go ride an excursion train in Keighley. We would have to get up early but that will get us home before dark. We turned in a little earlier so that we would be ready for the earlier morning.
