Wayfaring Day 69

September 7, 2025 Sunday

We attended church with our nephew and his family and then had the obligatory after church meal at a country style buffet. The buffet had salad, fish, hamburger steak with gravy, green beans, mac and cheese, fries and a few deserts. One of those desert was peach cobbler which is very common here though we like apple or cherry better.

The balance of the day was spent working on different projects, watching football and reading and writing. In the evening we had some dinner and watched a little more TV but with less football. David went to the park and did his one hour walk and was home a little after dark. He came upon a large skunk while walking but did not get sprayed....this time.

We stayed up until about midnight and then turned in. An exciting day. Yea!
