This morning we are having breakfast and then loading the bus for Salzburg. On the way to Salzburg we will make a stop in Cesky Krumlov where we will have a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Sight.

Cesky Krumlov is a surreal medieval city with this amazing castle that towers above the city. We toured the 13th century castle and then the town below. The college kids were so awed by this place that some of them commented they they would love to live here. We had a traditional meal before making our way back to the bus with our purchases we made at a couple of the artisan shops found along the cobblestone streets.

We arrived in Salzburg fairly late in the day and after check in we all met for a buffet meal in the hotel dining room. After the meal most everyone headed to old town Salzburg for some after dark exploration. We took an Uber to the Mozartplatz while most of the younger crowd walked down to the old town area. Our walk in the old town area brought us past Mozart´s birthplace, the Salzburg Cathedral and a large crowd watching an opera on a big screen in the Kapitelplatz. We met up with some of the others for a while and then meandered across the river to explore an ice cream shop. It was getting a bit late so we found ourselves another Uber at the Makartplatz and retired for the evening back at our hotel.
