Our entire crew of around 40 climbed aboard buses at our gate. The bus then drove at least a mile before reaching our plane to Prague. The flight to Prague was uneventful and we slept for most of the short flight. The Prague airport is far from the city and it feels like we landed out in the middle of a huge farm. We collected our bags and made our way to the the tour bus led by our Czech tour guide. After about 45 minutes were unloading on a busy street and walking to the hotel. Our hotel was the Cosmopolitan which is an 1889 townhouse restored to become a beautiful boutique hotel in the old town area of Prague.

We found our room, unpacked and took a short nap. We had a 7:00 reservation for our welcome dinner which was a short walk from our hotel. The Pilsen Restaurant Prag provided a buffet filled with several Czech classics. Everything we tried was quite good but somewhat unlike what we are accustomed to in the states. Of course that is exactly what we wanted and expected on this trip.

Afterwards we returned to the hotel and turned in early in hopes of becoming more adjusted to the the time difference.
