Wayfaring Day 178 Christmas Eve 2025

This morning we planned to leave sometime by lunch but plans changed. Our son and his wife purchased a new bed for our grandsons room. The new bed is a full over queen bunk bed. David and our son decided to unpack the boxes and build the bed. We didn’t think it would take most of the day but it did. The assembly was not that difficult but had a lot of steps and just took time to put all the pieces together. Once we were done with the bed our grandson had to test everything and then do some redecorating with his toys and furniture. We finally got in the two cars and headed home. David’s brother had cooked some ribeyes for dinner and he had those ready at about 7:30 when we arrived. We sat around his moms house and watched tv for a while before heading over to David’s brother’s house so we could get to bed. Our younger son was in town as well and he stayed at David’s mom’s house since no one is there tonight. We all had to get up early to get our Christmas meal prepared for David’s family. We are bringing his mom and dad to their house for our afternoon Christmas dinner.
