Once again we are at the hospital this morning. This meeting was to make a decision concerning the next step in trying to get David’s mom’s situation improved. We discussed the risks of the surgery and what alternatives are available. We did not make a final decision but we go back next Tuesday for a follow up.
David, Amy and his youngest brother all went back to the nursing center to provide the nurses there with some changes in her meds that were made by the cardiologist. They are hoping this new approach will help make things a little better before we get to a surgery date. We want to do what she wants to do but we all have our thoughts on how we think we should look at her condition moving forward.
After some time with David’s mom and dad we all went home in order to take care of some things. Amy went to get some lunch while David’s brother had a flat on his car repaired. After lunch Amy ran multiple errands while David stayed home and started packing for our holiday travel. We will spend the days between Saturday and Christmas Eve at the homes of family. We will be back at home base for a Christmas here sometime Christmas Eve.

Dublin and UK
Yesterday we finished our preparation for our flights on Aer Lingus and American. We mostly were getting our passport information entered for our flights and travel. David is already getting some of his winter clothes ready. It’s not looking like we will need them much with temps here unseasonably high. Christmas Day highs here will be about 75 but in the UK it is only 39.
