Wayfaring Day 158

December 4, 2025 Thursday

This morning David woke up, got ready and drove to the tournament where our younger son’s team is playing. He spent the day at the tournament watching basketball games. Our younger son’s team won both of their games which is much better than them losing.

David was able to visit with several people he worked with when he worked there. Several teachers and coaches still work there most of whom taught and coached our younger son who graduated from there.

Amy spent most of the day just sitting with our niece while her sister did some things with her grandkids. She is getting in so many Hallmark and other similar movies in that she may run out if that were possible.

David had lunch at one of his favorite restaurants before leaving for home from the tournament. That put him getting back home around 4:30. He made a little trip to JC Penney to reschedule his haircut and buy a long sleeve shirt that was on sale. At home base he talked with his brother about some of the days events before his brother went to bed. He starts days tomorrow so he has to get up early. David ate some salad and later went to a 10:00 movie. He did spend some time organizing and writing down everything for the Ireland/UK trip. We need to get everything lined out for that trip so it doesn’t sneak up on us.

On the way home Amy called David to tell him the nursing home had called and told us they were taking David’s mom to the Emergency Room due to breathing issues. Her heart failure issues are beginning to be more pronounced. That’s all for now since we are actually into Friday already.
