Wayfaring Day 101

October 9, 2025 Thursday

The forecast for today was for on and off rain so we decided this would be a good day for relaxing at the house and hanging out with the dogs.

David did a workout on the elliptical and then gave the dogs their workout chasing their ball. Amy spent a good portion of the day sewing. We didn’t really have a real lunch but we had had some breakfast of pigs in a blanket that we nibbled on all morning.

The afternoon was spent working on our phones, sewing, watching TV, playing pool and of course visiting with our dogs.

In the evening we grilled pork chops and had a salad to go with our protein. We watched some TV while to dogs kept watch for squirrels. Occasionally they would take off to the trees and stand up against them looking for a squirrel. We brought the dogs in after they received a good paw wash and dry. We baked some cookies and spent another hour or so watching TV before taking care of the dogs and getting ourselves to bed.

Frontier sent us an offer to check all of our bags free of charge for the flight home next week. We took advantage of the offer which means no rolling luggage around in LAS for our connection. We often check all bags on the return flight when possible. It is not as important that bags get home as it is for our bags to get to our trip destination.
