100 days of wayfaring or at least being homeless.
The weather was supposed to be cooler and cloudy but it turned out to be another great sunny day. It was cooler but not much.

David got up a little early today and went to a nearby park to do some hiking. The temperature was 52 degrees which was a little cool but perfect for hiking. He hiked most of the trails there while doing his 1 hour walk. The trails are mostly flat since they are along the Skykomish River. While hiking he saw an eagle, ducks, deer, geese, seagulls and lots of fish. The fish were the most impressive since we have not seen them like this before. David felt he had to take Amy back to at least see the fish. He returned to the house and let the dogs out and then made some breakfast.

Snohomish was our goal today. This would be a shorter trip so we would not be gone very long. We don’t enjoy putting the dogs in their enclosure for very long. They are fine there but we still feel sorry for them.

We drove over to Snohomish and parked on 1st Street near Mimi’s namesake. Amy was mostly interested in visiting Lamb and Company which she has watched on HGTV. She bought a shirt. We had not eaten lunch so we stopped into The Oxford Saloon for some excellent dishes. Amy had the chicken avocado sandwich and David had the fish and chips. We visited several shops around town and ended our visit at a pie shop where we bought slices to take home for after dinner. The drive back was nice and short which we appreciated after our previous two day’s trips.

The remainder of the day was spent with the dogs with one short trip to the park where David had hiked this morning. David wanted to show Amy the salmon swimming up stream so close we could probably have just walked into the stream and grabbed one. We were not there long.

The dogs were very good as usual. We hung out together and eventually went to bed. The chances of rain go up for the next few days. We will see how that goes. We have no plans for tomorrow.
