Wayfaring Days 40 - 41

August 9 and 10, 2025 Saturday and Sunday

Saturday was a day for taking care of business and just enjoying a day together. We picked up prescriptions and the mail. We did some shopping for shoes at an outdoor sale and ended up spending over $400 for 4 pair of shoes: one for each person in our immediate family. We had some lunch and later saw the new Fantastic Four movie. We also worked on packing for the trip to Europe that was looming large on the horizon much like a large thing that is closer than it once was.

Sunday was another typical go to church and then go eat lunch day. We had lunch at Jaggers with Amy´s dad and step mom. The afternoon was for visiting David´s parents and then if was time to finish with most of our packing and making sure everything was in order for us to be out of the country for a couple of weeks. We did do some more looking at THS and made a couple of more applications. One was declined immediately. Yikes!!?
