Wayfaring Day 253

Today David spent time with his mom and some time packing in the morning and then had plans to go pick up our younger son and go to a big playoff game between two top teams in the state. Amy spent most of the morning packing and then the afternoon with David’s mom and middle brother until fairly late. She is doing a lot of prep for leaving town for an extended time. Hopefully we will get everything in order before we leave the US.

David drove to our younger son’s and then on to our older son’s house arriving there at about 2:30. They kept our grandson busy while his mother worked and his dad went back to the university to take care of some personnel meetings. At around 4:45 our daughter-in-law took our grandson to his Kid Strong class. David and our younger son then drove to the game which was a drive of about an hour although it was still in the metro area. The game was in a large venue and had a large crowd. The game came down to the final shot with 15 seconds to go. After the game they narrowly got away from a severe storm and managed to stay ahead of it all the way home. David got home around 12:30 and the day was done.
