Wayfaring Day 250

Today was dominated by the memorial service for our niece who passed on this past Christmas Day. This was a final goodbye for all of us and a chance for many of the friends and family to go live here to have some closure, mourn and pay respects. After the service the women in the church here provided a nice meal for family and close friends which was very nice.

What happened the rest of the day seemed mostly unimportant. The family got together again for a meal at a local hamburger place that also has a great bakery. Everyone was emotionally drained by the end of the day. The clocks spring forward tonight so everyone turned in early with plans to attend church together tomorrow morning.
