March 3, 2026 Tuesday
After breakfast David had rehab and then his walking while Amy went to a ladies bible class. At noon Amy had a subbing gig at the Junior High. David spent the afternoon doing some reading and a few chores around the house. Once Amy returned from her job we went to CVS and then Walmart so that we could spend money. It was all for things we needed but we still felt like we spent too much. Some of the expenditures were for the trip to Spain and some were for Easter. We also bought some groceries which included the makings for dinner.

Later at David’s mother’s Amy made a pasta dish and bread while David had leftover pork chops since he is avoiding carbs again. Amy spent the evening with David’s mother while David and his middle brother went to a basketball playoff game. David scored the game on MaxPreps and his brother helped him with some spotting. The game was exciting and a bit wild but they enjoyed it.
David took his brother home and then went to his other brother’s house. It was already after 11:00. Amy was home from David’s mother’s a short while after that. His mother was having one of those not good days and had not eaten much or been very energetic all day. We watched a little news and a little comedy and then went to bed.

Note on War in Middle East:
Gas prices here are lower than most places and had been under $2 for a while. Lately the price has been from $2.20 to $2.50. Tonight we saw $2.99 to $3.07. The conflict in the Middle East is already having the expected affect on gasoline prices.
