Wayfaring Day 24 - 26

July 24 - 26, 2025 Thursday - Saturday

Thursday is the last day at Great Wolf Lodge. The family made their way back to their respective homes including our grandson who returned home with his Mimi. David is back at home base for a few days while Amy will head to home base Friday for the weekend.

The 3 days and 2 nights at Great Wolf Lodge was a fairly expensive outing even with the discounts that were offered. We estimate after splitting some of the costs we spent about $500 for the Mimi and our grandson to enjoy a fun filled adventure. Our grandson has already told his dad that they are all going back again together.

On Friday we spent far too much time trying to get Amy´s information correct for our Lufthansa flight to Prague in August. We used this time together to try to get everything ready for the big trip to Europe.

Friday and Saturday were mostly just normal everyday days. We had plans for Sunday for celebrating our younger son´s birthday. We did have one discussion concerning house sitting. David brought up the idea that since we are doing house sitting for family maybe we should look in to doing house sitting for other friends and family and maybe even strangers.
