Wayfaring Day 235

February 20, 2026 Friday

We both had substitute gigs today. Amy’s was half day that turned into a whole day. David spent his day playing with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and got paid for it. After the school day David washed the car and worked on some more EBay listings. He has about 20 items listed at the moment. We both got some pay for a couple of our previous subbing jobs which was nice.

We worked on our plans for the weekend and for the coming week which all look to be busy. We had dinner at David’s mother’s again tonight and then went home to finish some laundry and pack for the weekend. We did go back over to his mom’s to help her get to bed before finishing up packing. Amy is packing for the weekend and for a sewing retreat that she is going on with her sister. The baby shower is this weekend and that has added even more to the packing and preparation.
