Wayfaring Day 230

After church we had leftovers at David’s mother’s house with her and his brother. One of our friends was having a big 80th birthday party for her mother at 1:30. We managed to get both David’s mom and dad to the party with David’s brother doing the work to get their dad there. They all enjoyed the Elvis impersonator who did a great job of entertaining everyone. Afterwards we transported David’s mom and dad to the nursing home to continue their visit.

After going home to change clothes and grab a vacuum cleaner we headed to our younger son’s house for a visit. Our arrival at our son’s house happened around 4:00 and we delivered the vacuum so that he could better keep up with the cat hair situation created by our three cats. We visited with our son and with the one friendly cat for about 3 hours before heading back to home base. We stopped at Wendy’s and split a meal on the way. Once in town we went straight to David’s mother’s to watch some TV and then get her to bed. Once that was done we went home and watched a little TV and eventually went to bed. David has rehab in the morning so David didn’t need to stay up too late.
