Wayfaring Day 23

Today is the full day of fun at Great Wolf Lodge. The family played in the water to their hearts content and were all very tired at the end of the day. We did not buy the whole package of things to do and food but everyone had a great day. Our grandson´s mom and dad came for the evening and he was very happy for them to be there but then sad when they had to go home so they could go to work tomorrow. As sad as he was he fell asleep quickly after a long tiring day.

The boys in Atlanta spent the morning seeing some of downtown Atlanta since their flight was later in the day. They were able to visit the Olympic Park, Mercedes Stadium, Georgia Tech other areas near there. They had lunch at a Hattie B´s Hot Chicken which was a great choice and they highly recommend it. They made their flight home with no problems. Even though the plane landed not far from Great Wolf Lodge they opted for going home instead of joining the family for a night. It would have been a pretty late arrival at the hotel anyway.

Breaking down the Baseball trip is somewhat tricky. David´s airfare for all three flights was $16.80 due to using his Southwest points. Our son did a similar thing. We split the big expenses but paid for some things individually so the total we split was our only concern. We estimate somewhere around $2000 each for the entire trip. Maybe I will add an addendum later if we do some more precise calculations.
