Today Amy ran errands while David moved some repacked containers to the storage unit. He brought home a few more boxes to go through this week. In the afternoon we all went to the nursing home: David, Amy and both of David’s brothers and of course his mom. David’s brother had purchased heart shaped candy boxes and valentines cards for their parents to give to each other. Amy had purchased petit fours for everyone as well. We hung out with everyone for a while and then left to do a couple of things before the rain arrived. We picked up things to have spaghetti for dinner and got everything to David’s mom’s just before it started raining. The storms hit before we sat down for dinner. Soon after the wind began to blow intensely the sirens sounded and we received a notification that we were in a tornado warning. It was a radar indicated tornado that was passing over our city amd heading slightly southeast. We didn’t take cover or anything since we felt it had probably already passed our location. We seldom take cover unless it’s a really severe storm with tornados reported on the ground or the radar shows a debris field in the air. We should probably be more concerned but we have been through these situations many times before.

We had our spaghetti and a little later our petit fours which were scrumptious. We watched more Hallmark than Olympics much of this evening for some reason.

Maybe it was all the Valentines Day specials. ❤️

Happy endings? Two words to define. Happy? Endings? How to define? Maybe not worth analyzing today.
