Wayfaring Day 22

Amy took our grandson to Great Wolf Lodge today for their two nights and three days of fun.

They met the others in the family and began the fun of playing in the water park. They had four rooms in all and were able to share in some of the costs. We were taking advantage of specials that were offered but even so it is an expensive proposition.

David and our younger son flew to Atlanta today on a flight that was delayed for an hour due to weather. They were still able to make it to the Braves game with plenty of time to spare.

In Atlanta we grabbed our bags and caught the subway to our hotel. We had a hotel just across the street from the Arts Center Station. We took a bus from the station to the Galleria area bus stop which is close to the stadium. It was an express bus so it was short ride to the game. We walked over to The Battery which is a really great area with lively restaurants and bars. This area and the stadium are most impressive and really the best we had ever experienced as far as overall game experience. The Braves created an amazing Braves history area inside the park that adds even more to the Braves game excitement. The Braves organization has really created a great space and are doing a great job of promoting both the Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball. After the game we took an Uber back to the hotel and watched some of the MLB news around the league before going to bed.
